Although conventional ties are still available, we would like to draw your attention to the advantages of Pryda's Speed Truss Screws.
1. Trusses are pre-drilled and screws are pre-started in the top cords, with layouts identifying where screws are required for faster installation.
2. The screws eliminate the need to plane framing back to prevent cyclone ties/straps from fouling internal lining and external cladding.
3. One screw fits all. We will only supply one screw length to prevent the installation of incorrect lengths when fixing trusses.

Please note that some cyclone ties and multigrips are still required and that we will not be doing any hinged hips. Furthermore, Pryda screws should only be installed on Pryda truss systems as you may void the warranty on other truss systems.

Pryda's Lintel Screws & Tags are an ideal alternative to strapping lintels to top plates. This eliminates the need to plane framing back to prevent cyclone ties/straps from fouling internal lining and external cladding. We will also only stock 1 screw length to prevent the installation of incorrect lengths when fixing lintels: with tags facing downwards for easy identification from the ground. However, please note that Pryda lintel screws are installed on-site within 150mm of the truss, as wall frames cannot be pre-screwed.
