Explanation of levels of Treatment

• ACQ Treatment stands for Alkaline Copper Quaternary and usually has a brownish colour in appearance. ACQ basically means that it is treated with a water-based wood preservative and as such is suitable for uses including but not limited to Garden Beds, Children's Play Areas and Garden Furniture.

• CCA Treatment stands for Copper Chrome Arsenate and has a green appearance. This treatment is safe to use and has been heavily tested. Generally used for retaining walls, landscaping and fencing.

• H3 Treated - Suitable for outside above ground applications

• H4 Treated - Suitable for outside, in or on ground applications
